Hairdressing Q&A

I’m often asked a lot of question about what I do, and how I do it. I’ve put together this easy FAQ so you can understand more about me, and how I deliver the best haircuts.

Q:What’s the difference between a good haircut and a great haircut?

A: There no such thing as a good or bad haircut, there are only results. When you hold the hair at a certain angle and cut it, it produces results. The skill in the stylist is their angles and the ability to transfer it to his or her hands achieves result. A great haircut generally takes longer, however you need to get it right.

Q: Why don’t I colour?

A: I cut hair all day every day. It’s my full time job. I have dedicated my skills to cutting and styling, and with this comes great technique and a mastered skill.

Q: Why am I mobile?

A: Being mobile means that I can take my skills to people that need it. It allows me to control the volume of clients so that I can give 100% of my energies to each one.

Q: How do I give great haircuts?

A: I meticulously follow my guidelines around the head so both sides, back and front are aligned. This leads to an easy to care for style that holds it shape throughout its growth. After the cut I cross check to make sure its even. You wouldn’t want an uneven haircut, especially after 6 weeks, due to root movement and weight build up, the evenness will make sure that it holds its style.

Q: Am I full time?

A: This is my full time occupation. Having trained in the industry for 40 years, I’m a dedicated professional, with uniform, car and website. I arrive on time so you can get the best out of your haircut.

Q: Why do I know what I know?

A: I have an extensive knowledge of hair; it fascinates me, how it works, how it gets damaged, but most importantly how to repair it and why the colour fades. My clients can ask me anything, I’m a fountain of knowledge when it comes to hair.
